簡介
簡介
Due to the influence of both Eastern and Western cultures in the past, Yang Dingxian's art has always contained profound thoughts and wisdom beyond the surface, combining two vastly different styles which he calls "Eastern Contemporary". This characteristic is like a symbiotic relationship, blending and influencing each other, ultimately giving birth to a borderless global culture.
Yang Dingxian believes that the key to the creative process is exploring spiritual information through contemporary art's time and contemporary social issues, how to move towards simplicity to find the power of life, and how to find the essence of human life in the Eastern aesthetics of life. How we perceive, how we interpret. Returning to the purity of childhood, looking at all things with the simplest, most natural perspective, because good art forms are not replicas of the real world, but rather surpassing the visible things.
由於過去所受到的東西方文化薰陶，楊鼎献的藝術一直以來都蘊含著超越表面的思想與智慧，更是一種深刻的思想的表達，一種對於人生的感悟。他的作品展現出兩種截然不同之風格的結合，此特色也被他稱之為「東方當代」。這種「東方當代」特色就像是一種相生相存的關係，互相交融、互相影響，最終孕育出一種無界限的全球文化。
楊鼎献認為：在創作的過程中，最關鍵的其實是藉由當代藝術的時間與當代社會環境問題探討精神信息，如何邁向質樸尋找生命的力量，在東方的生命美學尋找人的生命本質，我們如何看待、我們如何詮釋。回歸童稚時期的純真，以最單純、最自然的眼光來看待萬物，因為好的藝術形式不是對現實世界的複製，而是超越可見的東西。
